How to Run Multiple TikTok Ads Accounts Without a Suspension (2026)
Yes, you can run multiple TikTok Ads accounts. TikTok says one Business Center can hold up to 150 ad accounts, and one user can create up to 30 Business Centers. Nothing we read from TikTok limits ad accounts per IP, so most people asking this don't need a proxy.
What ends accounts is something else: policy violations in the ads, a landing page that changes after review, weak or false business details, and any attempt to get around enforcement. TikTok reviews the advertiser's behaviour as well as the ads, and a different IP doesn't change any of that.
What TikTok allows
Can you have multiple TikTok ad accounts?
Yes. TikTok's Business Center setup guide calls it a place to "manage multiple accounts and assets", so having several is expected, not tolerated. Its FAQ answers the question directly: "each TikTok Business Center can add up to 150 ad accounts."
How many ad accounts can one Business Center hold?
150, according to TikTok's Business Center FAQs. That page was last updated in February 2025, so check it again before you plan around the exact number. If you're near that limit, you've got an account structure problem or a sales rep to talk to.
How many Business Centers can one person create?
30. TikTok's wording is "Each TikTok for Business user can create up to 30 Business Centers", and at the limit you deactivate one before creating another. It suggests more than one when you want to "separate brands, regions, or business units."
Do you need more than one Business Center?
Usually not. For advertisers, TikTok recommends creating new Business Centers under an existing Company so your ad accounts and assets stay consolidated. Our view: start with one, and add a second when a brand or region needs a separate team or separate finance.
Do separate clients need separate ad accounts?
That's the normal agency setup. TikTok's account management page describes an agency linking multiple client TikTok accounts to its Business Center and giving its buyers permission to run ads on them. Each client's spend, billing and pixel then stays with that client.
Does one business ever need two ad accounts?
Sometimes. Time zone, region, business name and currency can't be edited after creation, per TikTok's setup requirements, so a second country usually means a second account. Our view: most other reasons are a campaign structure problem, because one account holds up to 5,000 campaigns.
Does TikTok penalize you for having multiple accounts?
Not for having them, in anything we read about ad accounts. The rules aim at behaviour. That People Also Ask question is mostly about organic profiles, which follow different rules, and our TikTok account management page covers those.
TikTok's published limits
Every number here comes from TikTok's Business Help Center. Where a number isn't in this table, we didn't find one published.
| Limit | TikTok's number | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Ad accounts per Business Center | 150 | Business Center FAQs |
| Business Centers per user | 30 | Setup guide |
| Members per Business Center | 1,000: 20 Admins and 980 Standard | Business Center FAQs |
| Campaigns per ad account | 5,000 | Ad account limits |
| Ad groups per campaign | 999 | Same page |
| Ads per ad group | 50, with some exceptions | Same page |
| Active ad groups, under $1,500 monthly spend | 50 | Same page |
| Active ad groups, $1,500 to under $150,000 | 200 | Same page |
| Active ad groups, $150,000 or more | 1,000 | Same page |
Is there a limit on ad accounts per person?
We didn't find one. TikTok publishes a limit per Business Center and a limit on Business Centers per user. Any flat per-person number in a blog post should come with a link to TikTok, and we'd be wary if it doesn't.
Is there a limit on accounts per IP?
TikTok doesn't publish one. None of the ten TikTok help pages we read for this guide mentions an IP address. Even TokPortal, a vendor in this search, says no fixed accounts-per-IP limit exists. An office of media buyers on one connection is the setup Business Center is built for.
How does the active ad group limit work?
Each ad account gets a quota from its highest monthly spend in the past 12 months. TikTok says too many active ad groups competing with each other hurts performance over time. Active means running or in review, so you can make room by turning off the low spenders.
Should I open a second account to get more ad groups?
We wouldn't. The quota exists because of ad groups competing with each other, and a second account running the same offer to the same audience keeps that problem and splits your spend. Raising spend or pausing weak ad groups are the two fixes TikTok gives.
What TikTok doesn't allow
What does platform manipulation mean?
TikTok's Advertiser Account Policy says advertisers can't "circumvent, evade, or interfere with our advertising systems and processes." Its examples are bypassing moderation, manipulating the platform for personal gain, and disrupting ad-related operations.
Can I create a new account after a suspension?
Don't. TikTok's troubleshooting page says "Avoid creating any new ad accounts while your appeal is being reviewed." We read a new account made to get past a suspension as what the circumvention rule describes. We won't help with it, and a proxy wouldn't fix it. Resolve the issue or appeal.
Can I change the landing page after approval?
Not safely. TikTok's suspensions page lists "You made changes to your ad's landing page after creating a campaign" as a reason accounts get suspended. Showing reviewers one page and buyers another is the plainest case of bypassing moderation.
Can I use fake business details?
No. The same policy bans "Submitting falsified or inauthentic documents" and abusing TikTok for Business features to misrepresent identities or affiliations. TikTok can ask for documents to verify a business is eligible to advertise.
Can I use any payment method?
No. TikTok requires "legitimate and approved payment methods" for all advertising, and it says breaking its payment policies can lead to suspension.
Can I buy or rent an ad account?
We'd stay away. TikTok's policy says unauthorized access or control of an ad account isn't allowed, and the account arrives carrying someone else's business details and history. You'd have no way to fix a problem with it.
How TikTok connects accounts
TikTok doesn't publish a list of what links ad accounts. This is what its pages name, followed by what they don't.
The Company and Business Center
Each Business Center sits under a Company, which TikTok defines as "the corporate identity you use when running ads on TikTok." Accounts under one Company are connected by design.
Business verification documents
TikTok can require documents, and its Business Center needs a verified business before you manage ad accounts there. We'd assume the same documents on several accounts connect them, though the pages we read don't say so.
Websites and landing pages
Every ad account needs a company website, and changing it triggers a new account review. We'd treat a suspended account's domain turning up on a new account as the easiest link there is.
Payment methods
Payments are named in the policy, but a shared card isn't banned in anything we read. It's normal for one business paying for its own accounts. We'd treat it as a link when the accounts claim to be unrelated.
Members and partners
Business Center records who has access to what, including accounts owned by a partner. Agencies aren't hiding here, and they don't need to be.
What about the IP address?
TikTok doesn't list it. It may well read it, as any site does, but no page we read names it. Several results on page one say accounts on one IP get linked and banned, and most of them sell browsers, cloud phones or proxies. Those posts are also mostly about organic profiles, not ad accounts. An r/TikTokAds thread on page one describes multiple Business Centers and ad accounts under one email, which is a stronger link than a shared IP.
Setting up Business Center
Anyone running more than one ad account should start here, even with only two.
Step 1: Sign up with a company email
Go to the TikTok Business Center site and sign up with an email and password. We'd use a company address rather than one person's, because this login ends up holding access to everything.
Step 2: Choose agency or advertiser
TikTok asks whether you're an agency or an advertiser. Choose the one that's true, because it changes how the account is set up, and with advertiser you can create your first ad account in the same step.
Step 3: Enter your legal company name
Enter your full legal name, keep the Business Center name consistent with it, and check the time zone and currency. TikTok warns you may not be able to change your business information later.
Step 4: Turn on 2-step verification
TikTok lists it as optional. We wouldn't skip it, since one login reaches every account in the Business Center and account takeover is the case TikTok's policy says leads to a temporary suspension.
Step 5: Verify your business
TikTok says you can manage ad accounts as an admin once you've created a Business Center and verified your business. Do this before you plan a launch date around it.
Step 6: Create ad accounts or request access
To create one, open Accounts in the left menu, go to Advertiser accounts, and click Add. For a client's account, enter its Account ID and send a request. TikTok says only the Admin of that ad account can accept it. Transferring ownership is only open to certain customers, so ask your rep.
Step 7: Add your team as Standard members
TikTok's FAQ recommends standard access so people work only on assigned accounts. A Business Center Admin can add members, invite partners and create ad accounts. Standard members can't. Both only manage the accounts assigned to them.
Step 8: Assign finance roles
Finance Analyst views and downloads, and Finance Manager can manage balances, billing groups and invoices. Even an Admin needs one of these roles to see or manage finances, which surprises people the first time.
Running ads for client TikTok profiles
What's the difference between Deliver ads and Manage account?
Deliver ads lets a user or ad account use a TikTok profile's identity and posts for paid campaigns, most notably Spark Ads. Manage account adds comments, direct messages and profile details. TikTok's example gives buyers the first and the social team the second.
Can I run ads for multiple TikTok accounts from one ad account?
That's a common r/TikTokAds question, and linking a TikTok account to ad accounts in Business Center is how TikTok answers it. For different clients, we'd still keep one ad account per client so billing and pixels don't mix.
Do I need the client's TikTok password?
No, and you shouldn't ask for it. TikTok recommends linking through Business Center because it gives several people access without inconsistent ownership. It's the same reason you don't need a login-sharing setup.
What is an Organization Account?
It's a verified business account created and owned by the Business Center, so the brand's profile doesn't depend on one employee's personal account. It's worth using for a new brand profile.
How TikTok enforces it
TikTok shows where you stand in the Account Health tab of Ads Manager. Check it before you add another account.
| Status or event | What TikTok does |
|---|---|
| Account Health: Attention Needed | Warning notifications and suggestions |
| Account Health: Poor | The account is suspended |
| Severe violation | Can mean immediate suspension |
| First violation | 30 days to fix the issue or appeal |
| Issue remains, or appeal rejected after 30 days | Permanent suspension, no further appeal |
| Serious policy or behaviour cases | Temporary or permanent suspension from all Bytedance platforms |
What happens when an ad account is suspended?
All its ads stop, and they return to their earlier status if the suspension is lifted. You lose some features, including transferring and accessing pixels, and refunds follow a separate process. Agency accounts that are suspended can't create new ad accounts or add money to ad accounts.
Does one suspended account affect the others?
TikTok's pages don't say how far a suspension spreads across a Business Center. The advertiser policy does say enforcement can reach all Bytedance platforms in serious cases. We can't promise you either way, so vet who you take on.
How long do I have to appeal?
TikTok's pages give two numbers. The suspensions page, updated June 2026, gives 30 days on a first violation. The older troubleshooting page says an appeal won't be reviewed after 180 days. Work to the 30, and appeal as soon as you've found the cause.
How do I appeal?
Sign in to the suspended account in Ads Manager, click the Help icon, and in Ad Assistant click Submit ticket. Choose Account/Ad Review, then Account Review, then Account Suspension Appeal. TikTok says you should get a reply within two business days.
Should I file more than one appeal?
No. TikTok asks for one appeal per incident and says repeat appeals for the same issue cause delays. Write one thorough appeal.
Mistakes that get accounts suspended
Opening a backup account in case the main one goes down
If the main account falls, you'd be advertising the same business from the backup, and TikTok tells you to avoid new accounts during an appeal. It isn't insurance.
Editing the landing page after launch
A routine page redesign can do this by accident. Our advice: tell whoever runs the website before they change a page that's receiving ads, and resubmit the ad if the page changes.
Ignoring Account Health warnings
Attention Needed is the warning stage, and repeated violations are what turn it into a suspension. Assign someone to read it every week.
Letting a freelancer open accounts on their own email
When they leave, you're asking a stranger for your account. Create the account in your own Business Center and add them as a Standard member.
Giving everybody Admin
TikTok allows 20 Admins, which isn't a target. Admins can remove members and partners, so keep that list short.
Copying one risky offer across every account
If the offer breaks a policy, you've made one problem into five. TikTok reviews ads and behaviour, so spreading the same ad around is a pattern rather than a safety net.
Choosing the wrong time zone or currency
This one won't suspend you, but it can't be edited afterwards without customer support, and it's why many people end up with an extra account they didn't plan.
Do you need a proxy for multiple TikTok Ads accounts?
Usually not. Here's who does and doesn't.
Your own accounts or client accounts in Business Center: no
Business Center exists so one team can reach many accounts, so one connection is the expected shape.
Coming back after a suspension: no
The problem is you re-entering, and the IP isn't what TikTok judged. Appeal instead.
A client who must stay separate from your others: maybe
Some clients want their account run from a connection no other client shares. One dedicated line per client, held still, is a simple way to do that. It doesn't replace the client's own Company, documents and payment method.
A media buyer outside the US running US accounts: maybe
A steady US address means logins stay in one place. The account's region and business don't change, and those are what TikTok's setup rules care about.
Seeing what a US phone is served: yes
This has nothing to do with multiple accounts, and it's the best use of a line. A US mobile connection shows the real landing page and redirect chain, which is what ad verification is about, and it helps catch the landing page problem above.
What cloud phone and antidetect guides leave out
YouTube results on page one sell one cloud phone or browser profile per account. That's aimed at organic profiles, and it doesn't change an ad account's business, documents, site or card. If your reason for hiding two ad accounts from each other is that one was suspended, that's the thing the policy already names.
Which IP type, if you use one at all
TikTok publishes no rule on this, so the table is our advice, not its policy. For the general reasoning, see how many accounts per mobile proxy.
| Connection | What it looks like | Our view for TikTok Ads |
|---|---|---|
| Office or home connection | An ordinary business or subscriber | Right for your own accounts and Business Center |
| Dedicated mobile line | A phone on a US carrier, shared with subscribers through CGNAT | One per client who must stay separate, or a remote US buyer |
| Residential pool | A home address, rotated between customers | Login history that moves around, which we wouldn't want on a paid account |
| Datacenter or VPN | A hosting company's address | Other people's history on the IP |
| Free proxy lists | A stranger's server | Never for an account with a card attached |
Does TikTok Ads ban VPNs?
Nothing in the policies we read bans a VPN. A shared VPN or datacenter address carries strangers' traffic, though, which is IP reputation, and that history comes along on every login. See mobile vs residential proxies for the longer comparison.
How many TikTok ad accounts per IP would we run?
Our recommendation: all of your own accounts on your normal connection, and one dedicated line per client only when that client asks to stay separate. Carriers already put many subscribers behind each address through CGNAT, so a shared IP on its own proves nothing about who's behind it. If you do use a line, hold it still: rotate between checks, not under a logged-in account.
Where White Cloak fits
We sell dedicated US mobile proxies, so weigh this accordingly: most people running several TikTok ad accounts don't need one. Business Center, real businesses and clean landing pages cover nearly all of it. Where a line earns its place is checking pages for ad verification, and the narrow agency case above. If you buy on other platforms too, multiple Google Ads accounts and multiple Facebook Business Managers cover their rules, the Google Ads and Facebook Ads pages cover the proxy side, and social media agencies cover organic work. You can test a line on the free trial, and carrier availability is listed too.
Need a dedicated US carrier IP for a client account that must stay separate? HTTP and SOCKS5 credentials are issued instantly.

Frequently asked questions
Can you have multiple TikTok ad accounts?
Yes. TikTok says each Business Center can add up to 150 ad accounts, and each TikTok for Business user can create up to 30 Business Centers.
Can I run multiple TikTok ad accounts on the same IP?
Yes. None of the TikTok help pages we read mention an IP limit or treat a shared IP as a violation. Agencies run many ad accounts from one connection through Business Center.
How many ad accounts can a TikTok Business Center have?
Up to 150, according to TikTok's Business Center FAQs. Each Business Center can also have up to 1,000 members: 20 Admins and 980 Standard members.
How many Business Centers can I create on TikTok?
Each TikTok for Business user can create up to 30. At the limit, you deactivate one before creating another. TikTok suggests extra ones for separate brands, regions or business units.
Does TikTok penalize you for having multiple ad accounts?
Not for having them, in anything we read. TikTok's policies target behaviour: getting around moderation, misleading ads, false documents and illegitimate payment methods.
Can I create a new TikTok ad account after a suspension?
Don't. TikTok says to avoid creating new ad accounts while an appeal is under review, and its policy bans circumventing its systems. Fix the issue or appeal instead.
How long does a TikTok ad account suspension last?
On a first violation you get 30 days to fix the issue or appeal. If the issue remains or the appeal is rejected after that, the suspension is permanent.
Can I run ads for multiple TikTok accounts?
Yes. Link the TikTok accounts in Business Center and grant the Deliver ads permission. Buyers can then run Spark Ads on those profiles without getting access to manage them.
Why was my TikTok ad account suspended?
TikTok lists reports or complaints, problems with ad content or services, landing page changes after creating a campaign, suspected malicious behaviour, and violations of its advertising guidelines.
Do I need a proxy for multiple TikTok ad accounts?
Usually not. Business Center is built for one team reaching many accounts. A dedicated line only helps an agency keeping one client on a connection no other client shares, or a remote buyer who needs a steady US address.
